SJC FAREWELL CEREMONY '06

english and emaths review till 11.15am
30 mins of recess.
rushed to one of the level 2 classes.
mdm zhang came with our farewell gifts and scrolls.
the butterfly stalk(:
i chose a purple butterfly cos i think it's the nicest colour.
sadly, there's no blue butterfly.
mdm zhang gave our class small little gifts too(:
it's a forever friends card holder.
many many different designs and
i chose a green design though there's a blue design(:

prepared for the farewell ceremony.
lined up outside the hall.
everyone's anxious.
we sang our school song for the last time
and i teared, had to fight back my tears
cos i'm reading the thanksgiving prayer with pngy later.

mrs chan addressed to us.
she told us a story about the carrot, the potatoes and the coffee.
a meaningful and inspirational story(:
then, miss isabel tang gave her speech too.
she talked about IJ starlets to IJ stars.
that's the theme of our graduation night :D

soon it was the prayer service.
we sang heart of worship of the opening hymn,
followed by a reading and
the second hymn - i offer my life
the prayers from the sec1s to 3s.
then it was the prayer of thanksgiving.
it was our turn,
all representives of the respective graduation classes.

everyone was nervous,
and i could feel my heart rattling fast against my ribcage.
time passed quickly and it was our turn - 4 Integrity.
i took the microphone and read the prayer,
and there's a commotion.
they were laughing at my cos of my high pitch voice.
it was so embarrassing!!

we sang the final hymn - spirit wings.
pngy and i ran to our class,
put our arms around each other and sang together(:
emotional time.
lynn came crying to us,
all of us hugged her
and my tears came flowing down my cheeks.
some cried but some didn't.
everyone's sad that we are leaving each other.

farewell ceremony's over
and we headed to the class.

pngy played a composition on the piano
especially for us - THE GOONCREWS (:
she played 'THE PRAYER'
loved the music(:

there was tea reception for us
but the food were almost gone by the time we went.
sab and the others had some leftovers
so we helped to finished them.
however, corinne and i were interrupted several times.
cos we helped to take photos of them.
hahahaaaa.

took photos again.
stayed on school till 3 plus and
then corinne, naomi, khiu and i walked to compass.
burger king-ed.
stayed till 4 plus.
bus-ed home.


i'm gonna miss everyone in SJC ):
